Smoke Vision Care is currently in search of a paraoptometric to join their eyecare team.  Experience in the eyecare field is preferred but not required.  Smoke Vision Care will provide technical training for applicants with exceptional inter-personal, service skills and work ethic. Team members must have a friendly, outgoing attitude and a self-motivated drive to learn. Experience and/or education in another area of customer service, health care, data entry, office skills or service industry would be an asset for this applicant. The position could be filled by one full-time or two part-time applicants.  The candidate will need to be willing to work two evenings until 7:00pm and minimum of two Saturdays per month from 9:00 am until 2:00pm and travel between locations.  We have benefit and educational package.

Para-optometrics are allied health personnel who assist optometrists in providing their highest level of vision care to patients. Front office procedures,  taking patient histories, administering diagnostic test,  contact lens instruction, frame styling and fitting, and are just a few of the many duties paraoptometrics perform while working directly with patients or an optometrist.
