The pupils of our eyes are your windows to the world. They are also the window through which we can see into the back of the eye. When the eye is exposed to light it naturally constricts. A dilated exam stops the pupils from constricting for a short time so that we can examine all of the internal structures. We recommend regular dilated retinal evaluations to insure you have the healthiest eyes.
