Dr. Ashley Wesley was born and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate degree at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the well-respected Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University and graduated with high distinction. Dr. Wesley completed her externship training at the Wyoming Veterans Affairs Health Center, Zeeland Vision Services, Balian Eye Center, and Walton & Becker Eyecare. Her training focused on ocular disease, specialty contact lens fitting, pediatric and primary care exams, pre- and post-operative care, and fitting low vision devices. While in optometry school, Dr. Wesley was a class representative, student ambassador, liaison of the Vision Rehabilitation Club, and worked as a para-optometric technician between semesters. Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her husband and puppy.
